The Disney Treasure will set sail on its maiden voyage from Port Canaveral on December 21, 2024, but Port Canaveral will not be the first North American port that Disney’s newest ship will visit. The Disney Treasure is on the cruise schedule to visit New York City in November.
It will be in port in New York City on November 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2024. It will likely be available for the Media and travel agencies to visit. We will also likely see Good Morning America broadcasting from the ship during this time.
After The Treasure leaves New York, it will head to Port Canaveral for preview cruises for the media and travel agents. Before the Disney Wish sailed in 2022, Disney ran a contest for the public to win a cruise on one of the preview cruises. I will post the contest here when it is available to enter.
It is also a good sign that the maiden voyage will not be delayed, as it was with the Disney Wish. The Disney Wish is moving from Terminal 10 to Terminal 8 on November 15 to accommodate the Treasure.
