Disney Cruise Line is expanding in a big way. At the recent Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, Josh D’Amaro announced that four new ships will join the fleet between 2027 and 2031. This news means exciting times ahead for cruise fans.
Currently, there are five ships in the fleet, with four more already planned. These additional four will bring the total to 13 ships, offering even more options for Disney cruises. While details like ship names, designs, and itineraries are still in the works, it’s never too early to start thinking about future voyages.
D’Amaro also shared some news about the Disney Destiny, set to sail next year. Its signature show will be “Disney Hercules,” featuring music and characters from the beloved animated film.
With all these developments, Disney Cruise Line is setting up for an impressive expansion over the next few years. There will be plenty of new experiences for Disney fans to look forward to at sea.
But that’s not all. D’Amaro also shared exciting news about the Disney Treasure, which is set to embark on its maiden voyage later this year. Guests aboard will be treated to a brand-new stage production, “Disney The Tale of Moana.” This show promises to be a spectacle, complete with a giant puppet that’s sure to wow audiences.
