Today the Disney Wish had its christening ceremony. It is only two weeks until the maiden voyage. Between now and July 14 the Disney Wish will be hosting Media sites and Travel Agents. We should be seeing a lot more of the ship.
If you missed the christening you can watch it now on Youtube.
I was hoping we would see more of the interior of the ship. The Points Guy Blog has some great pictures of the new ship. Definitely check those out.
The Disney Wish at 144,000 gross tons is bigger than the Disney Dream and Fantasy but will still carry about 4,000 passengers like the two older ships. It’s also the first in the fleet to be powered by liquefied natural gas. It is the first in the fleet to have the Aquamouse attraction at Sea. The Disney Wish also has three new rotational restaurants Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, Avengers: Quantum Encounter, and 1923. See the menu for 1923, Arendelle, and World of Marvel.
I can’t wait to see the ship in person. The spa looks fantastic!
I also can’t wait to visit the Hyperlounge.
