Have you ever wondered if you can watch the Super Bowl if you are on a Disney Cruise? You can, and the Disney Cruise line makes it a unique event. We sailed on the Disney Wonder over Super Bowl weekend, with special treats put out by the cast members and multiple locations to watch the game.
Where to Watch
On the Disney Wonder and Magic, you could watch the game on the Funnel Vision, at the O’Gills/Crown and Fin, and at the French Quarter. The game shows on the Funnel Vision, Beuna Vista Theatre, O’Gills/Pub 687 and La Piazza on the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream. It will be the first Super Bowl on the Disney Wish; I expect it will play in at least one of the movie theatres, the Funnel Vision and the Keg & Compass. Please note that viewing is subject to satellite availability. I am confident the captain does their best to make sure they will get reception.
What can I eat?
The game takes place during both dining times. Disney had food options for people who wanted to watch the game. You can see the food available on our cruise in the French Quarter buffet in the pictures. There were sliders, wraps, sandwiches, chicken wings and chilli available. There was also a selection of sweet treats and cakes for the event. You will not find any unique Super Bowl food available in the main dining rooms.
