Update August 1, 2024

Today, the Disney Parks Blog announced the details of the Disney Destiny, one of two Disney cruise ships embarking on their inaugural sailing in 2025. The other ship, the Disney Adventure, will sail from Singapore in 2025.

We don’t have too many details about the Disney Destiny. It is Disney Cruise Lines‘ third Wish class ship. The Disney Wish began sailing in 2023, The Treasure in December 2024, and The Destiny in December 2025.

The Disney Destiny is inspired by Heroes and Villains. Details will be released over three days, from July 30th until August 1 at 10 a.m. EST. Each day, Disney will share how myths and stories come alive aboard the newest ship in its fleet.

Earlier this morning, the post stated booking would open to the public on August 9, 2024 September 12, 2024. Based on previous opening days, I think we will see booking Booking will open to Pearl Castaway Club members on August 5, 2024, September 6, 2024, Platinum Castaway Club members on August 6, 2024, September 9, 2024, Gold Castaway Club members on August 7, 2024, September 10, 2024 and Silver Castaway Club members on August 8, 2024, September 11, 2024 with itineraries released on August 1, 2024.

We may see the Destiny sailing from Fort Lauderdale, hopefully for 7-night cruises, but I could also see Disney doing 5-night cruises. Of course, this is speculation, and we will find out all the details next week. Sign up for our newsletter for the latest Disney Cruise News,
