Disney Wish Port Canaveral with Mickey and Minnie

Disney Wish Guests doing Back to Back (B2B) cruises have reported that they received a letter in their room notifying them of a change to B2B cruises. Normally, if you are booked on B2B cruises, and are booked in the same room, you do not need to pack up between cruises. All B2B cruisers are now required to pack up their rooms before disembarking.

“We kindly request that those Guests sailing on the next cruise pack all their luggage irrespective of whether they are remaining in the same stateroom or not.

If you are in the same stateroom, you are able to leave your packed luggage inside the stateroom. If you are not going to be in the same stateroom then please place all of your packed luggage outside your door prior to debarking. It will be transferred to your new stateroom while you are ashore. We ask that you vacate your stateroom by 08:00 a.m. Your stateroom will be ready to occupy by 1:00pm.

Please note that all Guests on consecutive back-to-back sailings regardless of age and vaccination status will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test at the terminal after debarking the ship following their first cruise and before re-boarding the ship for their second cruise. This testing will take place with Inspire at the terminal. By 8:00 p.m. on the evening of the 18th of July, be certain to complete the consent process on the Safe Passage website – www.dclsafepassage.com, as well as the online check-in on the Disney Cruise Line website. The testing in the terminal will be complimentary for all those on back-to-back sailings.

Debarkation will start on Tuesday morning at approximately 07:00 a.m. Testing will take place between 8:4am. and 10:00 a.m. It is anticipated that back-to-back Guests will be able to embark again at approximately 11:00 a.m. Regular embarkation will start at 11:30 a.m. Once back onboard, Marceline Market bar and Cove Cafe will be open for your enjoyment serving coffee, tea and light snacks.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Guest Services via the chat, by dialing “O” from any shipboard telephone or making an appointment to visit the Guest Services Desk.

This change is probably due to the new Covid variant currently spreading. More people are reporting infections after leaving the ship. By having the guests pack up their belongings before debarking, it will be easier for the crew to reunite the guests with their belongings if they test positive in between the cruises.
