Disney Cruise Line is bringing back character meet and greets. Since the return to cruising guests have not been able to experience traditional meet and greets on the ship. Instead, DCL has had photo opportunities with the characters socially distanced from the guests.
Beginning April 18, 2022, DCL will start to reintroduce traditional character meets as well as at Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Aulani Resort. You will once again be able to hug your favourite characters and get an autograph.
During the past two years, we’ve taken a very gradual, intentional approach to health and safety protocols. Recent trends and guidance have provided opportunities for us to bring back some of our most beloved magic, like character greetings and dining experiences. While not all locations will be available immediately, we anticipate reopening in phases throughout the spring and early summer.
