Disney Adventure The seventh Disney Cruise

Disney Cruise Announces Name of its Seventh Ship

Posted on September 9, 2023September 9, 2023 by Tracy

Disney Adventure is the name of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship!

Disney Adventure is the seventh ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and work is currently underway in Germany. It’ll be the first Disney ship to sail from Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia and feature the Disney service, storytelling and entertainment everyone knows and loves.

The Disney Adventure was purchased in 2022. The ship was previously known as the Global Dream. It will feature innovative Disney experiences, dazzling entertainment, world-class dining, and legendary guest service that set Disney Cruise Line apart. The exterior will be adorned in the iconic Mickey Mouse-inspired colours of the fleet, complete with signature red funnels.

The 208,000-gross-ton ship is expected to be among the first in the cruise industry to be fueled by green methanol, one of the lowest-emission fuels available. Disney Cruise Line expects the passenger capacity to be approximately 6,000, with around 2,300 crew members.

Construction will be completed at the former MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany, under the management of Meyer Werft, the Papenburg-based company that built the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish.

Earlier this week, we learned more about the sixth ship in the Disney Fleet. The Disney Treasure will set sail in December 2024, and Castaway Club members can start booking on September 12, 2023. The public will be able to begin booking on September 20, 2023
