Disney Confirms Cruise Cancellations

UPDATE – March 14, 2020: Disney Cruise Line to suspend all new departures through and including April 12, update on sailings departing from Canada. In an abundance of caution, Disney Cruise Line will be suspending all new departures through and including April 12.

Disney Cruise Line will offer guests and travel agents with clients sailing on these cruises the choice of a 125% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund. If guests or clients select a future cruise credit and are not able to use it, they will be eligible for a refund up to the amount they paid in full. Standard prevailing rates will apply for future cruises. For the cancelled cruise departure dates, Disney Cruise Line will protect travel advisor commissions for those reservations that were on the books and paid in full at the time of cancellation.

Travel professionals may contact Disney Cruise Line at 1-866-325-2112 or 407-566-3510 to request a refund for their client. For guests wishing to move to a future date, details on how to apply their cruise credit to a future sailing will be communicated via a follow-up email.

Sailings Departing from Canada

On Friday, March 13, 2020, the Canadian government announced they will not allow any ship with more than 500 passengers to dock in any Canadian port from now until July 1, at the earliest. The Disney Wonder has sailings that are scheduled to embark and/or debark in Vancouver beginning April 29. Disney Cruise Line is currently evaluating various options and has not made changes to any itineraries. Once a decision is made, Disney Cruise Line will reach out to guests booked on these sailings. Given the higher than normal call volume at the Call Center, Disney Cruise Line asks that guests and travel agents wait to contact us until after they receive an email from us.

The Sailings Affected

The sailings in italics listed under the Wonder are the sailings that will be affected by Canada barring Cruise ships with more than 500 people from their ports. These cruises on the Wonder starting April 24, 2020, have been removed from the Disney Cruise Line website.
