- Plan Your Shore Excursions: Book excursions through Disney as soon as possible. While independent bookings might offer savings, Disney-booked excursions provide peace of mind if itinerary changes occur. Remember, you must be paid in full to book activities.
- Arrive Early: Schedule an early Port Arrival Time during online check-in by checking in at midnight on your check-in day. Port arrival time is when you can arrive at the port, not your boarding time. Only arrive at your port arrival time, or you may be turned away until your time comes.
- Buffer Your Travel: It’s always advisable to arrive at least one day before your cruise departs, especially if you’re flying. Ships won’t wait for delayed passengers, so giving yourself ample time is a smart move to avoid any last-minute stress.
- Use Disney transportation: While it may be a bit expensive, opting for DCL transportation to the port is a stress-free way to kick off your vacation. It’s a convenient and reliable option ensuring a smooth adventure start.
Packing and Boarding
- Pack Smart: Bring essentials like a small medicine kit, pop up hamper, and a USB power outlet. Don’t forget themed outfits for special nights like Pirate Night, dining at the adult restaurants, and formal evenings.
